Weekend hiking trip around Larochette - in the footsteps of Carlo Hemmer

Programma

The ninth edition of the traditional hike in the footsteps of Carlo Hemmer, organised by the Luxembourgish youth hostelling association in cooperation with the Carlo Hemmer foundation, will take place on the 24th and 25th of September 2022 in the Mullerthal region – Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland and more precisely in Larochette. The programme includes two quite demanding daily stages of 20-25 km, passing by Luxembourg sandstone, caves and rocks as well as picturesque watercourses. After the first day's stage, there will be a barbecue and time to relax at the Larochette youth hostel, where you will also spend the night, before continuing your journey of discovery on the second day.

Included in the price: guided tours (2 day hikes), 1 overnight stay in a double room (WC and showers are on the same floor), breakfast, 1 dinner and 2 lunch packs.

Requirements:

Good physical condition and hiking experience over longer distances are required.

Sturdy shoes are compulsory - preferably hiking boots or trail running shoes.

The tour is exclusively reserved for adults.
